Larissa N. Byers
Ms. Byers is a Partner in The Law Offices of Frank F. Daily, P.A. She attended the Lee Strasberg Theatre & Film Institute (1989-1991), Musical Theatre (1991-1992) and the Film & Television Institute (1992-1993) through the Tisch School of Arts at New York University. While in New York she worked at ABC Television in the casting department for prime time television. She subsequently graduated from the University of Maryland School of Law. After graduating from law school she worked at a small firm in Washington, D.C. for five years representing plaintiffs in premises liability, medical malpractice and toxic tort cases in the District of Columbia, Maryland and Virginia.
Ms. Byers has been at The Law Offices of Frank F. Daily, P.A. since 2002. She currently handles cases in Maryland and the District of Columbia. Her primary focus is representing general contractors and subcontractors in construction defect litigation either in state court or with the American Arbitration Association. She is familiar with defenses available to contractors in standard AIA contracts and contracts with similar provisions.
In the evenings Ms. Byers teaches modern dance at Johns Hopkins University. She also taught media law and public speaking at Towson University for many years.
